For someone who is just 23 years of age, Max Aarons has plenty of experience under his belt.
Born in Hammersmith, Aarons, spent much of his youth career at Luton Town, before making the move to join Norwich City in 2016.
Primarily a right-back, who can also operate on the left, he made his debut for the Canaries in an EFL Cup game against Stevenage in August 2018, going on to score his maiden goal in yellow and green just two weeks later in the same competition against Cardiff.
A league debut followed for Aarons at the start of September, before a string of impressive performances that year saw him not only gain promotion with Norwich, but also be named in the Championship’s Team of the Season.
The EFL’s Young Player of the Year accolade was also awarded to the full-back, who ended his debut season with three goals and 43 appearances.
Across his five years in Norfolk, Aarons made 204 appearances and bagged nine goals across England’s two top divisions.
Internationally, he’s made 27 appearances for England’s under-21s, most recently winning the European Championships in June as the Young Lions beat Spain in the final.
Aarons is the cousin of former Newcastle and Huddersfield winger, Rolando Aarons.
