Exciting attacker Luis Sinisterra became the eighth addition of the 2023 summer transfer window, signing on a season-long loan deal.

The Colombia international made the move from Leeds United, where he’d scored eight goals in 25 appearances.

Primarily a left-winger or attacking midfielder, Sinisterra made his breakthrough at Colombian side Once Caldas.

He transferred to Feyenoord in Netherlands in 2018, making seven appearances in his debut season.

The winger scored his first goal in August 2019, opening the scoring in the Europa League fixture with FC Dinamo Tbisili.

It was the 2019/20 campaign where he made his breakthrough at the Eredivisie side, scoring seven goals in 32 games in all competitions.

His most successful season came in 2021/22, when he netted 23 goals in 49 games in all competitions.

Sinisterra scored 11 goals in 18 games in the Europa Conference League as Feyenoord reached the final, including a hat-trick against Swedish club IF Elfsborg in the play-offs.

For his form, he was named in the competition’s Team of the Season as well as being named Young Player of the Season.

He completed a permanent move to Premier League side Leeds United in July 2022, making his first move to England.

The forward scored his first goal in the 3-1 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup before scoring his first Premier League goal just days later, the equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Everton.

In total, Sinisterra scored seven goals in 22 appearances in all competitions, finishing as Leeds’ second-highest scorer in 2022/23, despite some absences through injury.

The Colombian continued his good form in the 2023/24 season, scoring the fourth goal in a win over Ipswich Town.

He made the move to Vitality Stadium on transfer deadline day in September 2023, signing on a season-long loan deal.
