Two aerospace firms are helping the Premier League Kicks project soar to new heights across Bournemouth.

AIM Altitude and Curtiss-Wright will jointly sponsor the rapidly expanding programme, which will now be rolled out to Christchurch thanks to the two companies’ support.

AIM Altitude designs, engineers and manufactures aircraft cabin interiors for the world’s major airlines, delivering iconic bars, lounges and social spaces.

Curtiss-Wright, born from the first powered flight in 1903, is a market leader with diverse, technically advanced, product lines operating within a wide range of global markets from agriculture to automotive and aerospace to nuclear energy.

The duo have pledged their support to the Premier League funded project, which enabled the AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust to offer free football to over 1000 young people in the 2016/17 season.

Alongside project ambassador Tyrone Mings, the project encourages young people to get involved in sport in the evenings, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and providing a safe environment to enjoy themselves.

Natalie Varney, marketing executive of AIM Altitude said: “With this exciting and hands-on new collaboration we are eager to see the difference that can be made for the youth in our local community and how our own team flourishes with the opportunity to assist young people at grass roots.”

Kevin Rayment, senior vice president from Curtiss-Wright, added: “It is a privilege to support such an excellent program, especially one that benefits the youth of our local community so directly.”

Last season, the project was available to people in Bournemouth, but now with Curtiss-Wright and AIM Altitude’s support, children in Christchurch will also be able to benefit from the Community Sports Trust’s hard work and popular programme.
